Report: Beckham fined for cheapshot, would face suspension for another

Odell Beckham Jr. has to be on his best behavior heading into Sunday's highly anticipated rematch with Josh Norman.

The New York Giants wide receiver was fined $36,000 after blatantly hitting New Orleans Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro from behind last week, according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports:

The fine is costly because Beckham is now considered a repeat offender when it comes to on-field conduct. As Glazer reports, the hit on Vaccaro takes away any "free pass" he would've had if tempers flared Sunday with Norman.

Another infraction could have him facing a suspension, like the one-game ban he served after multiple penalties against Norman last year.

All eyes were already set to be on the coverage battle when the Giants take on the Washington Redskins, and Beckham's recent actions ensure even more will be at stake.
