Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is expected to play in Sunday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Jeffery will reportedly need to test out his knee injury during warmups, but the progress that allowed him to participate on a limited basis at Friday's practice appears to have him on track to suit up.
His presence in the starting lineup will be key for a Chicago passing game that's likely to be without starting quarterback Jay Cutler.
Brian Hoyer is slated to get his first start with the Bears in Cutler's absence and, barring any sort of substantial limitation to his availability, Jeffery undoubtedly remains the No. 1 offensive target.
