Look: 76ers' front desk made of hardwood from Wilt's 100-point game

It's easy to forget the city of Philadelphia has an illustrious history in the NBA using only the last couple of seasons as a frame of reference.

The 76ers recently opened their new state-of-the-art practice facility, and one of the cool features is the reception desk - made of the wood from the floor Wilt Chamberlain played on when he scored his NBA-record 100 points in a single game.

Chamberlain hit the century mark as a member of the Philadelphia Warriors in a 169-147 win over the New York Knicks on March 2, 1962, in Hershey, Pa.

While he moved to the West Coast along with the team the following season, Chamberlain returned to Philly three years later as a member of the Sixers and won his first NBA title in 1967.
