4-star RB Salvon Ahmed commits to Washington

Washington added a four-star recruit to bolster its running game Friday, as running back Salvon Ahmed announced his commitment to the Huskies.

Ahmed announced his commitment to an audience gathered on the Juanita High School football field, according to Andrew Nemec of The Oregonian.

Ahmed is rated 107th on the ESPN 300, as well as being the 11th-ranked running back in the country for the 2017 class.

The 6-foot, 191-pounder had also received offers from California, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, and Utah, among others.
