Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins will be a game-time decision Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals due to a nagging foot injury, the club announced Friday.

Watkins was given an official designation of questionable after missing his third consecutive practice, with head coach Rex Ryan revealing the setback was caused by the wideout having his foot stepped on during a walk-through.

"That didn't help, but he feels better today than he did yesterday," said Ryan.

The 23-year-old has been playing through foot pain stemming from an offseason surgery, and has struggled to make an impact on the field. Ryan admitted it's unlikely he'll suit up, but left the door open for Watkins to play if he feels better come Sunday.

"Odds probably not real good that he plays," Ryan said. "If he feels good and (is) up to it he will. Don't officially count him out."
