Doughty giving Canada teammates insight to beat Quick

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports / USA TODAY Sports

Canada has quite the scout on its hands.

The team will go head-to-head with its border rival the United States on Tuesday, and ahead of the must-win contest for the U.S., Canada defenseman Drew Doughty is spilling the beans about his Los Angeles Kings teammate Jonathan Quick.

Doughty owned up to trying to give his team the edge, but admitted there isn't too much to tell.

"There's really not too many ways to beat Quickie," Doughty said, according to NHL.com's Tom Gulitti. "He's a good goalie. You beat him the same way you beat every goalie."

Canada will surely take any help it can get, especially after Quick limited the club to just one goal on 33 shots in 40 minutes of play in their first pre-tournament exhibition game.
