A powerful moment played out at the World Triathlon Series final in Mexico on Sunday, as British triathlete Alistair Bronlee gave up the chance to win the race to help his brother Jonny cross the finish line.

Jonny was leading comfortably heading into the final stretch of the race when his legs began to give out. He appeared woozy and ready to give up, but Alistair refused to let him stop, placing his arm around Jonny, and pushing him to the finish line.

South Africa'a Henri Schoeman overtook the brothers to win the race, with Jonny finishing second and Alistair third.
