There's a plethora of reasons why he's called "Johnny Hockey." That, above, is one of them.
Johnny Gaudreau put North America up by two over Finland with a marvelous tip-in goal Sunday. He went to the net looking for a puck to redirect, and it came, only on his backhand. No problem.
Gaudreau leaped, spinning around, while deflecting the puck past a helpless Pekka Rinne. Crazy.
Makes you proud to be a North American, right?
