The two clubs and reporters on the scene posted videos and photos of the large puddles that formed on the grass, with referees advising players not to warm up as the storm persisted.

After testing the pitch's playability prior to the scheduled 2:45 p.m. ET kickoff, referees determined the conditions presented too serious a challenge for the players. It's likely the two teams will meet on Wednesday, though there has been no official confirmation.
The match must either be played the next day or on a reserve date, according to UEFA rules.
