Malaga's Idriss Kameni: Concedes two in loss

Kameni made three saves including saving a penalty and conceded twice in Saturday's 2-0 loss to Villarreal.

Analysis:

The Cameroonian keeper was powerless in the 33rd minute for Jaume Costa's strike, but kept Malaga in the match some six minutes later when he dove to his left to stop Bruno Soriano's low drive. However, he then conceded on the crest of halftime to Nicola Sansone to make it 2-0, a deficit they would not come back from. Kameni helped Malaga avoid the drop last season, conceding just 25 times in 28 matches with 10 clean sheets before going down with a knee injury in mid-March; however, they'd built up a big enough margin to avoid relegation with ease. With a worse team in front of him this season, clean sheets will be few-and-far between for the 32-year-old.
