From where John Gibson is standing, it's pretty clear who the No. 1 goalie is for Team North America.

The Anaheim Ducks' star is set to take the crease Sunday in the team's second exhibition game against Team Europe, but admits Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray has likely already won the starting job.

"I think if you look at it, you’ve got to say right now he’s probably got it," Gibson said, according to Michael Traikos of the National Post. "Everything he did last year and everything, I’d say he definitely deserves it. I’m just trying to be there and be ready for anything they need."

Murray enjoyed a coming out party during the postseason where he was able to snag the starting job away from Marc-Andre Fleury, leading the Penguins to their first Stanley Cup since 2009.

He further cemented his spot as the likely starter once the tournament kicks off after turning away all 23 shots he faced in a 4-0 win over Team Europe in exhibition play Thursday.
