Watch: Angels hit back-to-back-to-back homers

David Richard / USA TODAY Sports

Not much has gone right for the Los Angeles Angels this season, but at least the middle of the order continues to hit.

With a chance to play spoiler against the Seattle Mariners on Saturday, the Angels sluggers did just that by jumping on Taijuan Walker early in the first inning.

With a runner on and no outs, Kole Calhoun ended a 13-pitch at-bat with a two-run homer to right field. Mike Trout followed with a solo shot to center field, before Albert Pujols clobbered a fastball over the left-center field wall as the Angels went back-to-back-to-back.

It's the first time the Angels have hit three consecutive home runs in a game since Trout, Pujols, and Raul Ibanez did it in 2014.

Both Calhoun and Pujols would finish with a pair of home runs in the 10-3 win.
