Robbie Keane scores beauty, gets rousing send-off in Ireland farewell
Ireland's all-time leading scorer and appearance holder Robbie Keane drew a line under his international endeavours on Wednesday, and capped off his farewell in typical fashion.
The LA Galaxy forward, 36, scored the second in a 4-0 friendly rout of Oman in Dublin Wednesday - a goal which showcased his speed of thought, audacity, and ease in finding the onion bag:

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers, Coventry CIty, and Tottenham Hotspur man was then replaced by Wes Hoolahan in the 57th minute, prompting the Aviva Stadium to rise and salute a player that has broke the most esteemed Irish records over his 18-year international career:

In solely committing himself to his LA Galaxy commitments, Keane has surrendered one record, however. The well-travelled veteran was the highest-scoring active international player with 68 tallies.
