The New York Giants have re-signed free-agent offensive tackle Will Beatty, a source told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Beatty, who was released by the Giants in February, was inked to a one-year deal that included $1.1 million fully guaranteed and $750,000 in incentives, a source told Adam Caplan of ESPN.

The seven-year vet missed the 2015 season due to a torn pectoral. He was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return, but was never able to make it back onto the field.

Beatty has spent his entire career with the Giants, acting as the club's left tackle from 2011 to 2014.

Ereck Flowers took over his position last season, but struggled mightily in his first year in the league. However, Beatty is expected to act as depth and compete with Marshall Newhouse for the right tackle position, reports Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.
