Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict added fuel to his team's contentious rivalry with the Pittsburgh Steelers, contrary to his best effort.

The Bengals and Steelers engaged in three vicious contests last season, and the last of which - a wild-card playoff game - Burfict played a central component when he picked up an unnecessary roughness penalty after striking Antonio Brown on a helmet-to-helmet blow, concussing the All-Pro wide receiver.

As a result of Burfict's hit, the Steelers extended a last-minute drive and defeated the Bengals 18-16, and Burfict was suspended for the first three games of the 2016 season.

However, Burfict clearly dismissed the Steelers on Tuesday.

"I don’t give no f---s about them," Burfict said to The MMQB's Tim Rohan. "Zero. You can write that, too. I don't give no f---s about them. They're just another team. They don't scare me. Just another team."

Burfict also didn't seem to be perturbed by his three-game ban.

"S---, I didn't really care. You've got to learn from your mistakes. That's it," Burfict said.

The suspension will cause Burfict will miss the Bengals-Steelers contest on Sept. 18, but it's still worth marking on your calendars.
