David Ortiz continues to rake in extra-base hits.

The retiring Boston Red Sox slugger recorded another historic milestone in his 20-year career Monday, as he smacked a first-inning double into center field off Tampa Bay Rays starter Blake Snell to record his 624th career double to tie him with baseball legend Hank Aaron.

Ortiz now sits in the 10th spot on the all-time leaderboard:

Rank Player Doubles
1 Tris Speaker 792

3 Stan Musial 725
4 Ty Cobb 724
5 Craig Biggio 668
6 George Brett 665

8 Carl Yastrzemski 646
9 Honus Wagner 643
10 Hank Aaron 624
David Ortiz 624

The two-bagger was also Ortiz's 40th of the season, though that slide could still use some work.
