Broncos sign Henry Melton

The Denver Broncos have signed veteran free-agent defensive tackle Henry Melton, the player confirmed Sunday.

The experienced pro will fit right into the mix on the Broncos' defensive line in light of the season-ending ACL injury to Vance Walker. Melton now figures to work for playing time behind Sylvester Williams.

Melton played in all 16 games for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season and recorded 30 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble. He spent the first four years of his career with the Chicago Bears and also had a one-year stint with the Dallas Cowboys.
