Arizona Cardinals wide receiver John Brown has been cleared to resume practice after being removed from concussion protocol Sunday, the team announced through website writer Darren Urban.

Brown was ruled out after being placed in the protocol on Aug. 1 after suffering an injury in the early days of training camp practice.

The 26-year-old put up 1,003 receiving yards and seven touchdowns last year, and will be expected to be used as a deep threat again for the Cardinals this season.
