He got his team through the ninth inning.

With the Baltimore Orioles getting shellacked 10-2 by the Houston Astros at home in the ninth inning, manager Buck Showalter decided his bullpen had enough, and he stuck infielder Ryan Flaherty on the mound.

Needless to say, he got rocked to the tune of two runs on three hits and one home run. But at the end of the day, he managed to grind his way out of the inning.

In his fifth season as a big leaguer, this is Flaherty's first time on an MLB mound.
