DeAndre Jordan has etched his name into USA Basketball's history books.

In his side's 82-76 semifinal victory over Spain on Friday, the big man recorded 16 rebounds, tying Tim Duncan (2004) and James Brewer (1972) for the Team USA single-game rebounds record.

His 16 boards is also the most grabbed in a single contest at the Summer Games in Rio. In addition to his dominant performance on the glass, he finished with nine points and four blocks.

The Los Angeles Clippers center is the leading American rebounder in the tournament with 6.3 per game to go along with 7.9 points in 17.7 minutes.

With 44 total rebounds and just the gold medal game remaining, reaching USA's cumulative record of 73 will be a tall task.
