Ravens' Suggs: 'This is the best we've looked' since Super Bowl

Terrell Suggs doesn't think it'll be long before the Baltimore Ravens are back among the NFL's elite.

As the star pass-rusher returns from last year's Achilles injury, everything he's seen in camp thus far reminds him of the perennial contender of seasons past.

"It feels like everything that we lost last year, we're getting it all back," Suggs said Thursday, according to the team's official website. "We're getting our swag back, our chemistry. Everything is starting to feel good. Now we're starting to feel like the Ravens again. All that is key, it's big, and it goes a long way for morale too."

Suggs added, "I would have to say since our Super Bowl year and the year before, I think this is the best we've looked since then."

The Ravens head into the fall looking to bounce back from a highly disappointing 2015 campaign, in which a combination of injuries and underwhelming play led to a 5-11 record.

Baltimore made a number of offseason moves to address various needs throughout the roster, and already working in the Ravens' favor is the sheer quantity of key players coming back from injury. Quarterback Joe Flacco, linebacker Elvis Dumervil, and wide receiver Steve Smith are among the many players expected to be back on the field in Week 1, along with Suggs.
