Giants scoreboard swaps lineups during game

The San Francisco Giants and New York Mets pulled off the most improbable blockbuster trade in MLB history Thursday thanks to an AT&T Park scoreboard blunder.

Prior to the start of the third inning, the scoreboard operator inadvertently swapped the lineups for both teams. The Mets lineup in particular - which is without regulars Yoenis Cespedes, Curtis Granderson, Asdrubal Cabrera, and Neil Walker - has struggled to produce as of late, hitting a combined .239/.296/.398 during the club's recent slide in the month of August.

While Mets fans would love to have Buster Posey, Madison Bumgarner, and Hunter Pence, unfortunately the error was quickly resolved.
