Inter sent Brazilian full-back Dodo to Sampdoria for good on Thursday after agreeing to a fresh two-year loan deal.

Sampdoria will make the transfer permanent at the end of the 2017-18 season.

The 24-year-old spent the second half of the 2015-16 campaign with the Genoa-based side at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, where he became an instant starter on the left flank.

Dodo initially arrived in Italy in 2012 with AS Roma, though he moved to Inter in 2014 after struggling to nail down a consistent role with the Giallorossi.

He made 16 starts for the Nerazzurri during the following campaign, but playing time soon became a problem again.

It was at Sampdoria that he kick-started his career, making 16 starts with the Blucerchiati last season to help them avoid relegation from Serie A.
