Report: Iowa State's Jake Campos suffers leg injury
Steven Branscombe / USA TODAY Sports
Iowa State offensive tackle Jake Campos suffered a leg injury Sunday, and the team is concerned about its possible extent, a source told Bobby La Gesse of the Ames Tribune.
The injury occurred during a closed scrimmage, the source added.
Campos, a redshirt junior, has started 23 games over the last two seasons, playing at both left and right tackle.
His potential loss for any extended period of time would be devastating news for the Cyclones, as Campos is the team's lone returning starter along the offensive line.
