Report: MRI confirms Bills' Enemkpali out for season with torn ACL

Buffalo Bills linebacker IK Enemkpali is expected to miss the upcoming season with a torn ACL, a source informed NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The third-year pro was carted off the field just before halftime of Saturday's preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts. Initial word from Bills head coach Rex Ryan was that the injury was "major" in nature.

The loss of Enemkpali is a further blow to a Bills defense that already lost Shaq Lawson, Reggie Ragland, and Manny Lawson to significant injuries.

The injury to Enemkpali comes just over a year after he broke New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith's jaw in a locker-room incident.
