Watch: Stanton crushes solo HR whopping 504 feet

There once was a time where Giancarlo Stanton looked human.

That is no longer the case.

The Miami Marlins slugger absolutely ripped through a baseball Saturday against the Colorado Rockies, tattooing a first-pitch changeup from hurler Chad Bettis to the tune of 504 feet, according to MLB's Statcast.

Stanton's shot is the longest home run hit this season, and the longest home run ever recorded at Coors Field, surpassing Mike Piazza's 496-foot shot with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1997.

In just 19 career games on the Rockies' home turf, Stanton now owns nine home runs and 22 RBIs.
