"The Chef" Stephen Curry wasn't going to get shunned in the MVP race in the Players Voice Awards two years in a row.

The Golden State Warriors sharpshooter was selected by his peers Thursday as the 2015-16 MVP, an honor given out by the National Basketball Players Association.

Despite winning the regular-season MVP last year, his fellow players didn't see fit to throw them their vote, selecting James Harden of the Houston Rockets instead.

The 28-year-old clinched his second league MVP in a row following a campaign in which the Warriors won a record 73 games. Curry also toppled his old mark by converting 402 shots from 3-point range, while also leading the NBA in points per game at 30.1.
