Rio 2016's tennis bracket was drawn Thursday morning and the first round of competition on the men's side pits world No. 1 Novak Djokovic against Juan Martin del Potro, who defeated Djokovic in the bronze medal match at London 2012.

Defending gold medalist and world No. 2 Andy Murray drew Viktor Troicki, a difficult opponent considering Troicki is one of the best unseeded players in Rio.

Rafael Nadal and Kei Nishikori, the other top seeds, drew Federico Delbonis and Alberto Ramos-Vinolas, respectively.

On the women's side, world No. 1 and defending Olympic champion Serena Williams will face Daria Gavrilova.

Williams is on the same side of the bracket as sister Venus, so there's no chance of them meeting in the gold medal match.
