Report: Titans still have interest in Roddy White

The Tennessee Titans may not be done dipping into the market of veteran pass-catchers.

Despite having added Andre Johnson to the fold this week, the Titans are still interested in former Atlanta Falcons wideout Roddy White, reports Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Florio adds that White, unlike Johnson, is unwilling to accept a minimum salary deal. But should Johnson not have much to offer in training camp, it's possible that Tennesse instead opts to take a serious look at White.

Whether it's Johnson, White, or another free agent still on the market, any veteran could have a difficult time cracking the Titans' 53-man roster heading into the regular season.

For as much value as there may be in adding experience to an otherwise young group, taking snaps away from other players would be counterproductive.

Kendall Wright, Dorial Green-Beckham, Rishard Matthews, Justin Hunter, and Tajae Sharpe currently round out a promising young group of receiviers for second-year quarterback Marcus Mariota.

White was released by the Falcons this offseason after a 2015 campaign in which he managed just 43 receptions for 506 yards and one touchdown across 16 starts.
