New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes showcased some cat-like reflexes on Tuesday, when his team squared off against the St. Louis Cardinals in the first game of a double header.

After Cespedes chased down a liner to the outfield gap off the bat of Cardinals outfielder Randal Grichuk, the Cuban bobbled what looked to be an easy out before nabbing the ball out of the air with his bare hand.

Although the close call didn't appear to to rattle Cespedes, starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard didn't wear the same kind of calm on his face after the near mishap.
