Browns place Gordon on NFI, Haden on PUP

Jason Getz / USA TODAY Sports

Cleveland Browns recently-reinstated receiver Josh Gordon will have to wait a little bit longer to make his return.

Gordon was placed on the non-football injury list Tuesday with a quad injury suffered during a personal workout after being reinstated on Monday, the team announced.

Star cornerback Joe Haden will begin camp off the field as well, being placed on the physically unable to perform list with an ankle issue.

Players can be removed from either list at any point during the preseason.

The Browns also put rookie tight end Seth DeValve (hamstring) on the PUP list and offensive lineman Conor Boffeli (knee/ankle) on the NFI list.
