Amid a wild week of trade rumors, two players who aren't going anywhere put together stellar performances to capture Major League Baseball's weekly honors, as Boston Red Sox first baseman Hanley Ramirez and Colorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story were named Players of the Week for their respective leagues, MLB announced Monday.

Ramirez continued to wield a scorching hot bat with a monster week at Fenway Park. The 32-year-old posted a .333/.440/1.048 line over six games to go along with five homers, 12 RBIs, and six runs scored. He hit three home runs on Wednesday against San Francisco.

Story continued to build on what's been a remarkable rookie season by slashing .478/.571/1.304 last week, adding in six homers, 12 RBIs, and 10 runs scored. His two homers against Atlanta on Saturday gives him four multi-homer games on the season; he also surpassed former Rockies icon Troy Tulowitzki for the most home runs by a rookie NL shortstop.

It's the third time Ramirez has won the Player of the Week award, but the first since June 2009. For Story it's the second time he's been given the honor this year, having also won it in the season's opening week.
