The impending reported trade to send Aroldis Chapman to the Chicago Cubs may be bigger than initially thought.

The proposed deal between the Cubs and New York Yankees is bigger than just top prospect Gleyber Torres and another minor leaguer, a source told Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. There are other pieces involved, with one of them being right-hander Adam Warren, who the Yankees dealt to the Cubs over the winter, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.

Although the final version of the deal hasn't been made public, Rosenthal added that the trade and players involved have been agreed to by both teams, who are in the final stages of completion.

Injured outfielder Jorge Soler is not involved in the deal, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports. Neither is highly regarded third-base prospect Jeimer Candelario, per Sherman.

Warren, a valuable swingman for the Yankees last year, was sent to the Cubs for infielder Starlin Castro in the offseason. He hasn't been able to replicate his excellent 2015 season at Wrigley Field, sporting a 5.91 ERA in 29 appearances and just one start; the team optioned him to Triple-A over the weekend.

Torres, the Cubs' top prospect, according to MLB Pipeline, was pulled from his game at Single-A Myrtle Beach on Sunday. The 19-year-old shortstop is hitting .275/.359/.433 in 94 games with the Carolina League outfit.

Reports that the teams were working on a trade to send Chapman, a four-time All-Star closer, to the North Siders first emerged Sunday night.
