Nebraska AD reaffirms commitment to Big Ten

Bruce Thorson / USA TODAY Sports

The group of teams interested in joining the Big 12 is growing by the day, but don't add Nebraska's name to the list.

After recent comments from Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder saying he knows two former Big 12 schools would like to come back to the conference, some speculated the Cornhuskers were one of them. Nebraska athletic director Shawn Eichorst threw cold water on that Saturday morning, though.

The Cornhuskers get a share of the revenue for the Big Ten Network, making it highly unlikely they would ever give that up for a reunion with the Big 12.

Houston, Memphis, UCF, BYU, UConn, and Cincinnati are all reported options for the Big 12, and more likely candidates than any team currently in a Power 5 conference.
