If there's anything that does worry Rob Gronkowski, his team's starting quarterback situation isn't one of them.

Despite having no NFL starts, Jimmy Garoppolo has the confidence of his teammates, according to the New England Patriots star tight end.

"We got a lot of confidence in Jimmy," Gronkowski told CBS Boston radio Thursday, according to Oliver Thomas of 247Sports.com. "I mean, we've been working together for the last two years. You just don't work with the first team when you're at practice every single time with the Patriots. You work with the first-teamers, second-teamers - everyone gets in the mix."

Garoppolo will likely start for the Patriots through their first four weeks while Tom Brady serves his Deflategate suspension. Rookie Jacoby Brissett will serve as his backup.

Gronk believes that the overall chemistry and team environment will help Garoppolo succeed in Brady's absence.

"Everyone works together, so when situations happen like this, everyone is comfortable with each other, everyone is on the same page, everyone has chemistry going," said Gronkowski. "We got a lot of confidence in all the players around, and I feel like if we all just work together and start from Day 1, which is coming up next week, and just prepare like every single year, we should be fine."
