Iowa's Dale Jones granted 6th year of eligibility

Iowa forward Dale Jones has received a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA, the Hawkeyes announced Thursday.

Jones suffered two ACL tears during his college career. The senior went down with the knee injury for the first time in junior college and dealt with the same issue for the Hawkeyes last December.

Prior to getting injured last season, Jones averaged 5.5 points and three rebounds per game.
