Mariners prospect Lewis suffers knee injury in catcher collision
One of the Seattle Mariners' top picks appears to have suffered a scary injury.
Seattle's 10th overall pick in the 2016 MLB Draft Kyle Lewis left his Class-A game with a knee injury on Tuesday, according to the Everett AquaSox.
Lewis scored on a play at the plate, but stayed down for several minutes. He was able to walk off the field with the assistance of his coaches, but appeared to be in a lot of pain.

After the game he was seen leaving the yard on crutches, and he's expected to see a doctor on Wednesday.
Lewis was drafted 10th overall out of Mercer University, the first player in school history to be drafted in any sport. Shortly after, he went on to win the Golden Spikes Award, given to the NCAA's top Division I player.
In 30 games this season at Everett, he's batting .299/.385/.530 with three homers, five triples, and eight doubles.
