4-star forward Galen Alexander commits to LSU

Galen Alexander will be staying close to home during his college basketball career.
The Louisiana native announced Sunday his commitment to LSU, giving the Tigers the No. 2 player in the state for their 2016 class.
Alexander, a four-star small forward, also had offers from Texas, Oklahoma, and USC.
The loss of Ben Simmons to the NBA draft hurt the Tigers' roster, but the return of Antonio Blakeney and securing Alexander should give fans hope for the future.
