The New York Knicks have signed Real Madrid forward Maurice Ndour to a two-year guaranteed contract, international reporter David Pick reports.

Ndour played for the Knicks' summer-league team last season, and was subsequently signed by the Dallas Mavericks later that month. Ndour was eventually waived by Dallas after appearing in just four preseason games, and signed with Real Madrid in December.

At 6-foot-9 with a 7-foot-6 wingspan, Ndour has solid height and terrific length for a power forward, and could become a solid addition to the Knicks' frontcourt if he develops an offensive game.

The 24-year-old averaged 2.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks in 9.6 minutes for Real Madrid this past season.
