The Golden State Warriors have added veteran power forward David West on a one-year contract for $1.55 million, according to NBA TV's David Aldridge.

The number is the NBA veteran's minimum for next season.

The move is a continuation of the Warriors' plan to fill out their bench with reliable veteran bigs willing to take discounts. Golden State reportedly added Zaza Pachulia on Monday on a one-year, $2.9-million pact, and are rumored to have interest in inactive former All-Stars like Ray Allen and Jermaine O'Neal.

West signed a similar contract with the San Antonio Spurs last summer, in pursuit of his first championship. He averaged 7.1 points and four rebounds in 18 minutes per game in his lone season in Texas. The two-time All-Star, who turns 36 in August, has averaged 14.8 points and just under seven rebounds over 13 NBA seasons.
