Bears OC: Kevin White 'everything that we expected'

It may be happening later than expected, but drafting Kevin White is starting to pay off for the Chicago Bears.

White missed his entire rookie campaign last year with a leg injury after being selected seventh overall in 2015. He's said his health is back to 100 percent this offseason, and has stepped in right where Bears offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains wants him.

"(White) is everything that we expected," Loggains said, according to Eric Prisbell of USA TODAY Sports. "His attitude is contagious because he is very positive. He doesn't have bad days."

The 24-year-old is expected to get a chance to start opposite Alshon Jeffery in the Bears' offense with Eddie Royal likely filling the slot receiver position. The team will look for White to help it improve upon its 23rd-ranked passing offense from last season.

White also drew rave reviews from Bears wide receiver coach Curtis Johnson, who compared the 6-foot-3 receiver to the likes of Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne.
