Napoli's Marek Hamsik: Starts all four Slovakia matches at Euro 2016

Hamsik started all four Hungary matches at Euro 2016, tallying one goal on 10 shots (two on target), one assist on five crosses and nine dribbles. He takes his international record to 19 goals in 91 caps. Slovakia were swept away 3-0 at the hands of Germany and were knocked out at the round of 16.

Analysis:

It was business as usual for Hamsik who had just another outstanding campaign for Napoli last season. The 28-year-old creative midfielder put numbers typical for him, though, he was exceptionally reliable this time around starting all 38 Serie A matches. He finished the season with six goals, 11 assists and an average of 2.2 shots per game.
