Another tournament will come and go without Tiger Woods, as ESPN's Jason Sobel confirmed the 14-time major champion has officially withdrawn from The Open Championship at Royal Troon in two weeks.
Woods will miss his third straight major as he recovers from back surgery done late last year, with Australia's Marcus Fraser set to take his place.
The three-time winner of The Open Championship admitted to CBS Sports during the Quicken Loans National that he was unsure if he would be able to return at all this year.
With the season's final major, The PGA Championship, happening just two weeks after the event at Royal Troon, it's likely Woods will miss all four majors for the first time in his career.
