Report: Kings contacted Ryan Anderson, Matthew Dellavedova

The Sacramento Kings are looking to fill out their roster with some shooters to stretch the floor.

Their top target remains restricted free agent Dion Waiters, but the Kings also contacted Ryan Anderson and Matthew Dellavedova on Friday morning, The Vertical's Chris Mannix reports.

Anderson makes for a logical target for the Kings. The sweet-stroking power forward would give the Kings' offense a significant boost and his shooting would open up swaths of room for DeMarcus Cousins to operate in the paint.

The 28-year-old averaged 17 points and six rebounds per game while mostly operating in a sixth man role with the New Orleans Pelicans last season.

Dellavedova, meanwhile, would fill a glaring need at point guard. Although the Australian pest isn't fit to start, the Kings only have Darren Collison under contract for next season, and they could use a pass-first floor general who plays defense, and hits threes to accommodate their various high-usage players.

The 6-foot-4 guard enjoyed a career year in which he averaged 7.5 points and 4.4 assists while shooting 41 percent from deep with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Kings have roughly $30 million in cap room, which might not be enough to reel in both Anderson and Dellavedova.
