Tom Huddlestone will continue his career at Hull City after signing a two-year contract with the newly promoted team.

"Huddlestone signed his new contract this morning and will remain a key part of Steve Bruce’s squad as the Club looks forward to its Premier League return next month," the team said in a statement.

The 29-year-old played an important role in the team's bid to win promotion last season as he appeared in 38 matches, scoring two goals and setting up four assists.

Hull City resumes life in England's top flight on August 13 when it hosts Premier League champions Leicester City.
