The Muncie Central High School football team has been equipped with brand new cleats, thanks to a former student entering his sixth NFL season.

Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan, who was named the team's Walter Payton Man of the Year, donated 111 pairs of cleats to his old high school this week.

Kerrigan was an all-state selection in his senior high school season before moving on to play four years at Purdue.

A highly productive college career resulted in him landing with Washington in the first round of the 2011 draft, and he's gone on to rack up 47.5 sacks while starting all 80 regular-season games.
