Packers post record $408.7M in revenue

Matthew Emmons / US PRESSWIRE

The Green Bay Packers posted a record $408.7 million in revenue for the fiscal year ending on March 31, the team revealed Friday.

Green Bay also recorded a team-record net income of $48.9 million and made $75 million in profit from operations.

The Packers earned $222.6 million in national revenues, a share of the $7.12 billion split evenly by all 32 teams.

"We're responsible for the future growth and stewardship of the franchise, which ties in with Titletown," Packers president Mark Murphy said. "We're investing in the community. We see it as a long-term asset to the community and to the organization."

Because the Packers are the only publicly-owned team in the NFL, they are the only franchise required to report their revenue and income figures for the fiscal year.
