The July 15 deadline for the Denver Broncos to ink franchise-tagged linebacker Von Miller to a contract extension is fast approaching, but there have reportedly been no discussions between the two parties in some time.

Miller's representatives and the Broncos haven't engaged in negotiations since early June, reports ESPN's Josina Anderson.

The Broncos reportedly offered Miller a six-year, $114.5-million extension, but the Super Bowl 50 MVP is believed to have turned it down because of a lack of guaranteed money in the third year.

The 27-year-old hasn't signed the one-year tender which would pay him $14.129 million in 2016, and it appears he has no intention of doing so after saying there's "no chance" he'll play next season under the tag.

Last season, the deadline was preceded by a flurry of deals for tagged players. While it's possible the pressure of the deadline could force the Broncos and Miller to come to terms, it appears they're no closer in negotiations.
