Missouri lands ex-Oklahoma RB Alex Ross
Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports
Missouri announced Wednesday the arrival of former Oklahoma running back and kick returner Alex Ross as a graduate transfer.
Ross, who announced he would switch programs at the beginning of May, was long expected to be headed to the Tigers, though the transaction wasn't officially announced until Wednesday.
Ross ran for 172 yards and one touchdown on 32 carries last season. He also served as the Sooners' primary returner. The senior could enjoy a greater workload out of the backfield this year, as the Tigers ranked 120th in the country in rushing last season.
