Oklahoma State and Arizona State have agreed to a future two-game series that will see the Cowboys host in 2022 and then travel to Tempe in 2023.

The home-and-home set was announced Tuesday by Arizona State.

"We are proud to announce this series with Oklahoma State," said athletic director Ray Anderson. "We have been long committed to playing future football games against some of the nation's finest non-conference opponents every year. We believe our fan base will enjoy this series."

Oklahoma State and Arizona State have met three times in the past, with the latter holding a 2-1 head-to-head edge. They last clashed in 1993, when the Sun Devils emerged victorious, 12-10.

Both of the announced matchups will take place in September of their respective years.

As a result of the Oklahoma State series, Arizona State also announced Tuesday that its series with LSU, which was scheduled to be played in 2022 and 2023, has been moved to 2026 and 2029.

The Sun Devils revealed a slew of other scheduling moves, including the addition of a game against San Diego State in both 2027 and 2028, and future dates with Kent State and Southern Utah.

Arizona State and San Diego State already have battles set up for 2017 and 2018.
